What is the Green Business Fund?
The Green Business Fund is an attractive and accessible support package offered by the Carbon Trust to help small and medium sized companies in England, Wales and Scotland identify energy saving opportunities and install energy efficient equipment in their business.
In order to qualify for the Green Business Fund, your business must meet at least two of the following criteria:
(i) It has no more than 250 employees;
(ii) Your annual turnover does not exceed £25.9 million; or
(iii) Your annual balance sheet total assets do not exceed £12.9 million;
In addition, no more than 25% of the share capital or voting rights can be held by an organisation which does not meet at least two of these criteria.
