North West Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2016

A group from Precision Pneumatics attended the North West Entrepreneur of the Year Awards on 3^rd November, to celebrate the shortlisting of founding Directors Phil Hood and Julie Prescott in the Business Services Entrepreneur category.

Julie led the party, accompanied by Sales Director John Massey and Gareth Coates from the Marketing team. Phil Hood was unable to attend as he was attending a conference organised by our partners, Atlas Copco.

A major achievement

Businesses from around the North-West were in attendance at The Mere Golf and Spa Resort.  Given the strong business environment around the region, simply being shortlisted is a major achievement. This is particularly true in the Business Services Entrepreneur category, where only two of the nominees came from Merseyside.

In a highly competitive category, Phil and Julie did not claim the coveted trophy, which went to Christian Gleave of Review Travel. However, that does not diminish the achievement represented by being one of only five finalists for this prestigious award.

The event was a fantastic evening from start to finish. The comedian Justin Moorhouse hosted proceedings, which also featured Nick Wheeler, founder of Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts as the guest speaker.

Julie Prescott observed “It was a lovely evening and a great opportunity to celebrate not just the success that Phil and I have had with Precision Pneumatics but that of businesses from around the region. It’s an honour to have been shortlisted and a tribute to our fantastic team and the excellent job they do for our customers.
