Precision Pneumatics, the Authorised Distributor for Atlas Copco compressors and vacuum pumps in Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire and North Wales is on the lookout for Britain’s oldest compressor.

We have teamed up with Atlas Copco to help us with the search; they will replace the oldest still running, oil-injected, 30-90kW, stationary compressor in Britain with a brand new machine that delivers the same amount of air.

Outstanding reliability, sustainable productivity

To demonstrate the longevity and reliability of Atlas Copco industrial compressors, consider this; a Precision Pneumatics customer has an Atlas Copco 608 compressor which is older than most of our team. This competition potentially allows that machine to finally take a rest… unless you know of an older unit!

How the competition works:

If you think that your site might have a contender for the title of Britain’s Oldest Compressor, please visit the Atlas Copco website to enter the competition. We will then arrange a follow up visit to your site to verify your entry and conduct a complimentary #airCheck of your compressed air system.

Atlas Copco will supply the new compressor to the winning business; if that business is in Merseyside, Lancashire or Cheshire, we will install and commission the machine and provide a quote for the ongoing servicing on that new compressor.

It is completely FREE to enter and any make of industrial compressor is eligible provided it meets the following criteria:

• Oil-injected
• Motor power rating between 30kW and 90kW
• Stationary
• Still running
• OLD
