How the iiTrak Energy Monitoring works
Our engineers will install monitoring devices around your system, without any downtime or disruption to your operation, which will collect 7 days’ worth of electrical data on Flow, Power Consumption, shift patterns and other factors.
At the end of the monitoring period, our expert team will download the data collected and use it to create the load cycle profile for each compressor in your system and extrapolate annual usage for compressed air, energy and the cost. We then simulate different solutions using the information specific to your site and prepare a report detailing the findings and outlining the most cost-effective solution for your site. The report we produce will include recommendations on how to save energy whilst optimising compressor operation and where pressure can be reduced to save energy without compromising performance.
For instance, if the working pressure within your system can be reduced by 1 bar, that would reduce the energy used to power the system by approximately 7%.
