CELEBRATING 30 YEARS IN THE COMPRESSED AIR INDUSTRY
Meet Beth Wood, our apprentice administrator, for whom 2018 is turning into quite a year!
Since joining Precision Pneumatics in March, Beth’s hard work has helped her to develop her skills as she works towards her NVQ in Business Administration. She has also celebrated her 18th birthday and been shortlisted for a Knowsley Business Award.
Earlier this week, Beth followed up on these achievements by passing her Driving Test at the first attempt. This is something that she has been working very hard on and will only help her with her future career.
Director Julie Prescott commented: “Whether she is in the office or taking driving lessons, Beth shows a real determination to succeed. The whole team is very proud of her, not just because she has passed first time, but also because of the way she has learned and grown since joining us.”
Beth lives locally and was recruited in partnership with the Knowsley Apprentice scheme, which offers employment and personal development opportunities to young people in the borough. Participating in the scheme has enabled Precision Pneumatics to recruit a dynamic new member of our team, who will achieve a transferrable qualification that has been structured to meet both her needs and those of the business.
Later this month, Beth will find out whether she has won the prestigious Apprentice of the Year title at the Knowsley Business Awards. Somehow, we don’t think Beth will be driving that night!Back to Recent News
