Congratulations, Matthew!

Precision Pneumatics is delighted to announce that Matthew Hill, who joined the company as an apprentice in 2016, has successfully completed his Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Engineering Manufacture (Engineering Maintenance).

In addition to practical, on-the-job training alongside his fellow Service Engineers, Matthew has achieved his Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma in Engineering Maintenance and has become a valued member of the team during his time.

Matthew has developed his skills significantly during his time with Precision Pneumatics, having been mentored by experienced engineers Paul Hudson and Rob Stead. Matthew observed that “I am a lot more confident than I was at the start of the apprenticeship. I learn something new every day and I’ve developed skills in a number of different disciplines.

Presenting Matthew with his certificates, Managing Director Phil Hood commented:

“Matthew has come on leaps and bounds since he started working with us. He has taken every opportunity to learn, whether that has been from his colleagues, on training courses facilitated by Atlas Copco, or by attending college.  I’d like to thank Gerry Lawrenson of Alliance Learning for the work he has done during Matthew’s apprenticeship. We are proud to have supported him and are only too happy that he is part of our Field Service Team.”

In completing his apprenticeship, Matthew has worked extremely hard and become a valuable and popular member of the team. We would all like to congratulate him on qualifying as an engineer.

#PrecisionSupports its people to develop themselves in the same way that we support our customers to get the best from their compressed air systems. Businesses of all sizes across Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire and North Wales will benefit from Matthew’s knowledge and skills.
