Fab Four complete fundraising challenge

Four members of the Precision Pneumatics team have raised £800 for Cancer Research UK by successfully completing ‘Movember’ and cultivating their facial hair for a month.

Managing Director Phil Hood, Sales Director John Massey, Finance Manager David Kent and Technical Sales Engineer Paul Sanderson have risen to the challenge and done a tremendous job of fundraising for the company’s Charity of the Year.

Over the course of the month, the chaps have gone from totally clean-shaved to the full ‘Tom Selleck’ and have been brilliantly backed by customers, partners, family and friends. Their Cancer Research UK Giving Page has raised £700, while our friends and colleagues at Indequip donated a further £100 directly. We are so grateful to everyone at Indequip for their support so thanks to them for their contribution.

Director Julie Prescott, who talked the team into taking up the task, commented: “I’m very proud of all four of our volunteers. They look fantastic and have added a significant amount of money to that raised when a team from the company completed the Colour Obstacle Rush over the summer. As a business, we have raised over £1,700 for Cancer Research UK; a sum which will increase to more than £2,000 when Gift Aid is included. This is a tremendous achievement and I’m so happy that, as a company, we have pulled together and been able to raise so much money for such an important charity.”
