PPL Sales Team Grows by Two More!

We’ve been lucky enough to start this year off with two new brilliant additions to our Sales Team!

We’re excited to announce that Sam Walford has joined us as our new Technical Sales Engineer – Pneumatics and Dan North joins us as our new Technical Sales Engineer – Capital Equipment.

Sam Walford originally was an electrician apprenticeship before starting his Pneumatics journey in South Africa. He started in a company with his Uncle teaching him the ins and outs of all things Pneumatics. Since then he’s moved from South Africa and joins us here at Precision Pneumatics in sunny Merseyside!

When asked what he liked about Precision Pneumatics he told us ‘The company seemed very professional and a key player in the Pneumatics Industry in the North West. When speaking to John Massey (Sales Director) I liked the direction he saw the company going in the future and knew I wanted to join.’

Sam is a problem solver, he loves to get stuck into a pneumatic circuit and find the best solution possible. He’s looking forward to helping our clients with any pneumatic issues that may arise and helping design them the best solution, whether it’s one single piece or a whole turnkey solution that needs designing he’s excited to help. Sam has great experience with Norgren but loves getting to use and integrate FESTO products into his solutions.

Sam has already been out and about delivering Pneumatics parts and catalogues to customers, so if you see him make sure to say hello!

Dan North joins us as our new Technical Sale Engineer – Capital Equipment.

Like Sam, Dan also has seven years of experience in the industry. However, Dan’s knowledge is more focused around Capital Equipment.

He started in the industry working as an account manager for a hydraulic and pneumatics company before leaving to become an external sales representative for a Compressed Air Supply company based within Leicester. This is where Dan gained the vast majority of his compressed air experience.

Dan has an amazing knowledge of nitrogen and the cost-saving benefits of Industrial Nitrogen Generators. While discussing what he’s most looking forward to completing in his role he told us, ‘I’m looking forward to going out and spotting the containers that usually stores Nitrogen and discussing with the company how much they could save by generating it on-site themselves.’

While not working you can find Dan spending time with his family, watching football or maybe he’ll even binge watch a boxset or two!

When asked what he liked the most about Precision Pneumatics he responded, ‘Precision Pneumatics is a big enough company to handle big projects with Blue Chip listed companies, but also small enough that it still cares about every single aspect of the job.’

Dan looking forward to familiarising himself with all the benefits of Atlas Copco Compressors, while also discussing and helping with quotes for customers looking for compressed air maintenance.
