CELEBRATING 30 YEARS IN THE COMPRESSED AIR INDUSTRY
A team from Precision Pneumatics is taking on the Colour Obstacle Rush on Saturday 21st July and will be both running 5 kilometres and raising money for Cancer Research UK.
The Color Obsctacle Rush is a unique event combining the fun of colour powdered runs, the thrill of an obstacle course and the atmosphere of a music festival. As they make their way around Aintree Racecourse, Precision’s all-female team will get through 20 obstacles, 8 colour stations, 20 music zones, a chill-out area and ‘colour from the sky’. They will also find inflatables to slide, bounce, tumble and get tangled up in, (with colour stations inside some of them), a sponge ball ocean, some space hopper racing, water balloon fights and much more,
Our team is Julie Prescott, Oby Umeh, Hayley Stanton, Lyndsey Beckett, Gemma Weston, Karen Drewry and Maddie Redmond. The run was Maddie’s idea, possibly because she wanted to see her mum (Karen) covered in paint!
Talking about the challenge they are talking on, Director Julie Prescott said: “Cancer is an illness that touches so many people and we want to do what we can to help find a cure. Cancer Research UK is doing fantastic work and we have adopted CRUK as our official charity for 2018. The Colour Obstacle Rush is a brilliant event and we will have lots of fun getting around the course! We will be extremely grateful for any sponsorship pledged by our customers, suppliers and business partners and tank our family and friends for their support too.”
If you would like to show your support for our team of intrepid runners, you can sponsor the team by clicking here. All monies raised go directly to Cancer Research UK and any amount pledged would be very much appreciated. You can also make a pledge in person, at our Trade Counter, where you can pick up a free copy of our new Pneumatics Catalogue.
