#PrecisionSupports Local Charity Health Through Sport

Precision Pneumatics was the Headline Sponsor of a Sportspersons’ Evening staged by the Liverpool-based charity Health Through Sport on Friday 10th May.

The evening – a tribute to Everton legend and former England international Peter Reid – took place at the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool City Centre. In addition to an entertaining contribution from the former Toffees midfielder, guests enjoyed a set from comedian Chris Cairns and were able to take part in a raffle and a memorabilia auction which added to the funds raised.

Precision Pneumatics has been a long-standing supporter of Health Through Sport, which was founded by former Everton player Ronny Goodlass. The charity provides football coaching to disadvantaged young people and supports other vulnerable members of the community, including homeless people, people with addiction issues and ex-offenders. Health Through Sport achieves this by providing educational and vocational courses which provide tangible qualifications whilst also stretching candidates physically and mentally.

Director Julie Prescott commented: “It was a super night. The stories Peter told from his long football career were amazing. Health Through Sport events are always fantastic evenings and we are pleased to support a local charity that is so active in the community.”
