Sharp Engineering gets a new compressor from Precision Pneumatics to match its growing business

Knowsley-based firm, Sharp Engineering (www.sharpengineering.co.uk), specialises in welding, fabrication, product cutting, engineering and installation services.

Ran by husband and wife, Darren and Katie Bryan, the company has seen huge growth since it was founded 11 years ago.

Due to this increase in business, they are currently moving into a newly built warehouse to meet customer demand, and needed a brand-new compressor to accommodate production growth.

The Problem:

Prior to purchasing a new compressor, Sharp Engineering had an Adicomp VXA 11, which became overworked, unreliable, and a potential down-time risk factor.

According to Darren, without a new compressor, their whole system would not work, as it is the main power source for the majority of its operations.
