Knowsley Business Awards: we’re on the shortlist!

Precision Pneumatics is proud to announce that the company has been shortlisted for the prestigious Medium Business of the Year prize in the Knowsley Business Awards.

The business has now been recognised for the quality of its offer in compressed air and pneumatic solutions at both local and regional levels, following the recent announcement that Directors Phil Hood and Julie Prescott had been shortlisted in the North West Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

The Knowsley Business and Regeneration Awards celebrate the creativity, ingenuity and commitment of the individuals and organisations that are driving forward Knowsley’s economic success. The category in which Precision Pneumatics has been shortlisted, Medium Business of the Year, is open to companies with 10-49 members of staff and is highly sought after by local firms.

The judging panel is chaired by Edward Perry, who is Chair of the Knowsley Place Board and Operations Director of Knowsley Safari Park. His colleagues include Chief Executive of Knowsley Council, Mike Harden, Carmel Booth is who Chief Executive of Atlantic Gateway, the CEO of Liverpool John Lennon Airport Andrew Cornish and Olympic medal-winning athlete turned speaker and businessman Steve Smith.

It will be the judges’ task to select the winners across 12 categories. These will be announced at a ceremony in the Grand Marquee at Knowsley Safari Park on Thursday 24^th November.

Huge honour

Reacting to the news that the company has reached the final stages of this prestigious competition, Director Julie Prescott remarked: “Precision Pneumatics has been based in Knowsley for 25 years and we are proud to be part of the local economy. To have been shortlisted in such a competitive category is a huge honour. It is a tribute to the fantastic people we have working with us and their drive, commitment and professionalism.
